My client is a world leading legal research and insights company who differentiate the very best legal talent by identifying and ranking law firms and lawyers. They’re seeking an experienced Data Engineer who will design, build and deploy high-quality solutions across my clients’ products, platforms, and applications, ensuring they meet data engineering and QA standards.
The successful candidate will also be required to promote engineering best practices and be the point of expertise for all data related projects, ensuring standards and performance are met across the data engineering team. As a core member of the Data Engineering team, you will help in the implementation of the data strategy and transformation roadmap.
Skills and experience:
• Demonstrable data experience across the Azure platform
• Excellent understanding of DataBricks and PySpark
• Excellent understanding of SQL and CosmosDB databases
• Excellent knowledge of designing, constructing, administering, and maintaining data warehouses and data lakes.
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud Services
• Good understanding T-SQL programming
• Good exposure to Azure Data Lake technologies such as ADF, HDFS and Synapse
• Good knowledge of Data Governance, Data Catalog, Master Data Management
